Erin Gahimer (She/her/hers)
Senior Programs Coordinator
Erin coordinates and oversees summer Faculty-Led programs and manages education abroad scholarships.
"I am a 2013 University of Dayton graduate who during my time as a student traveled to Segovia, Spain on a short-term program as well as to Madrid, Spain for a semester at La Universidad Pontifica de Comillas. In 2013, I worked as an English teaching assistant in Buenos Aires, Argentina with the local Marianist community. I've since joined UD as an employee in 2016."

Ben Jackson
Programs Coordinator
Ben coordinates and works on logistics for Faculty Led Programs. Ben brings a diversity of international and intercultural experiences to this position and we are excited about his enthusiasm for study abroad as well as his strong skill and background in logistics.
"I graduated from Northern Arizona University, where I earned my B.A. in International Affairs/Relations in 2020. I participated in an impactful five-week study abroad program in Greece where I studied the EU refugee crisis. I also spent four months in Kenya for an internship where I worked with youth and on wildlife conservation issues. I recently completed my Masters in Ethics, Peace and Human Rights at the School of International Service at American University in Washington, D.C. Prior to my university education, I served in the US Air Force around the world.I am a Dayton native and am excited to be joining the Flyer family."

Maria Jay (She/her/hers)
Global Learning Advisor
"I graduated from the University of Dayton in 2021 with my BSBA. In my time with UD, I traveled abroad to Russia and worked as a World Associate for 3 years in the International Student & Scholar Services. I also lived in the Global Learning Living Community within Caldwell on campus. I continued to grow in my love for international education at the University of Florida where I obtained my Master's Degree in International Business in May of 2022. I look forward to continuing to support students' diverse and global experiences."

Tina Kosobud (She/her/hers)
Administrative and Systems Coordinator
Tina handles the behind the scenes details, from budgeting to accounts payable to managing Integrated Travel Systems and ensuring risk management aspects of travel are maintained.
“I joined the Dayton Study Abroad team in January 2022. I have over a decade of education experience working at the elementary, middle and high school levels teaching Biology and Special Education. I spent time living in Japan and Spain and have criss-crossed the United States with my family as my husband served in the USAF. I have been fortunate to have lived in Boston, Washington DC, St. Louis, Charleston, SC, and Miami, just to name a few places. I believe that diversity in culture and experience enriches our perspectives and expands our world view to mold us into well rounded people."

Assistant Director
Heather manages the University Exchange programs, serves as a Professional Advisor for semester and academic year-long programs, and supervises the Professional and Peer Advisors.
"In the fifteen years since I studied abroad, I've been fortunate to explore the world both professionally and personally. It started with my studies in London, England, but I have been able to expand on my understanding of international higher education through on-site work in Europe, Zambia, and Belize coupled with my professional studies of Higher Education at the University of
Dayton."

Zoe Krzywda (she/her/hers)
Senior Programs Coordinator
Zoe oversees and coordinates winter and integrated Faculty-Led programs.
"I came to UD in 2011 as a student, started working professionally at UD in 2016, and joined the Office of Education Abroad in 2019. As a student I studied abroad in Buenos Aires for six months and, since then, my career has brought me to China and Mexico. Exploration and understanding of cultures all over the world is a passion of mine and my work is centered around helping students develop intercultural competencies.
