"Before joining UD in 2020, I traveled to Austria, Spain, and France to study physical theatre and dance for my pre-thesis research as an undergraduate. I've also taught English in Japan, and went on delegation to Cuba to learn about Maroon roots and resistance. I value the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from individuals who have different cultural values and experiences. Education abroad provides an important opportunity to grow awareness and more deeply understand one's positionality within a global context."
