AIFS was an amazing study abroad program. They were extremely helpful, answering all of my questions prior and during the trip. They arranged activities for our program and ensured we had the most fulfilling experience possible. I am so grateful for my AIFS program, they are truly my second family and they said "We will always have a second home in Rome".

This program is absolutely wonderful, especially for the price. They take very good care of you from the day you submit your application until well after the program. I got to experience so many wonderful things that I never would have been able to if I didn't go through API. Definitely reccommended!

Antioch's WGSE program was one of the most rewarding experiences I've ever been through. I learned so much about women's issues, including general topics like history, theory, psychology, sociology, anthropology, philosophy, racial justice, cultural comparatives, and life in general. I really think this program made me a better-rounded person than I was before. Aside from that, I made so many friends from all over the world, who are so diverse from each other, and especially from the friends I have always been around. My world has opened up immensely.

IFSA butler was an amazing program! It was so well organized especially once we were there! Orientation when we first got there was AMAZING!! And really help us adjusted to New Zealand! Also we had an advisor we could meet with whenever we needed and had weekly meetings with yummy food and monthly cultural trips (all optional but ALL some of the best things I did while over there!) our advisor really cared about us and became more if a mom while over there which is nice when your feeling homesick or missing your real mom!! I can't imagine not meeting the people I met through my program also! I know we will all be friends for a long time! I love IFSA and would recommend it to anyone!!

This program is amazing. The people are so helpful and friendly. Take advantage of their offerings and do as much as you can to submerge yourself into whatever culture you enter. I would absolutely recommend Athena Study Abroad Program! Make sure you get all of the program's requirements finished so that you have plenty of time to prepare for your trip. Enjoy the entire process and stay as openminded as you possibly can.

This program was so amazing because it gave me the opportunity to experience a country and a culture entirely different than my own. Because I went with API, I did not know a soul in Spain. However, my program was fantastic and I was able to meet people from all around the world. I was placed in an apartment right in Sol, which is literally the heart of Madrid, and I could not have been placed in a better location. My classes and my professors did not speak English, so it was perfect because I had an amazing opportunity to be completely immersed in the language classes. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I would do it all over again the exact same way.

This was an absolutely amazing program. Athena was very helpful through the entire process. The university in Florence LdM offered so much help to students throughout the entire time I was abroad. It was one of the best experiences of my life, and I would recommend that everyone goes abroad if they can.

API was the perfect program to travel with. I felt like I truly encompassed the full abroad experience with both the challenging academics and cultural experience that was offered. The API program includes trips to various cities around Italy, while also providing cultural activities such as wine tasting and free tours throughout the semester. The program directors cared about each student and were always available to help anyone at any time. I'm so happy I chose API and feel they truly made my experience what it was: simply amazing.

I really enjoyed studying abroad with CEA. The program directors were extremely friendly and helpful if I never needed anything during my time in Spain. The program organized many weekend trips which were a lot of fun and very culturally interesting. During the weeks, there were many cultural activities planned around the city as well. I was incredibly happy with the host family I was paired with. I would definitely study abroad with CEA again if I had the opportunity.

API is the best third party organization in Buenos Aires. It is big enough to get reservations and make plans, but small enough to cater to every student and have a good group dynamic. Carmen is the best coordinator and really takes care to make sure your whole trip runs smoothly. She is very organized and handles every problem or issue very smoothly. She also is so energized about her job and makes the organization tick. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to study abroad in Buenos Aires, API is the best. Also, Bs As is a very unique "latin american" experience because the culture is very European. Having spent time in Central America, the society and the people are worlds apart.

Studying abroad was an incredible experience that I will never forget. The amount of new places I got to visit, people I met, and memories I made were more than I could have ever asked for. This has definitely been one of the best decisions I have made in my life, and is an opportunity I would never pass up. I learned so much about other cultures, people, and myself. I am so thankful I was able to study abroad, as it has truly changed my life for the better.

Though you may not get the typical study abroad experience through Semester at Sea, it is one of the most amazing and life changing things you will have ever done. Instead of falling in love with one country, you'll fall in love with the world.

I give the AIFS program my highest recommendation. They provide the best possible opportunity to make the most out of the study abroad experience. They are very helpful during the application process, preparing to leave, and while abroad. The many activities included in the program increase its overall value compared to other, similarly priced programs. From experience, I learned that the AIFS program provides significantly more than other programs for a cheaper price. If you want the most out of your study abroad experience, AIFS is the way to go.

I chose SLU Madrid because they offer more classes that will transfer over. The challenging part was going to the school and not knowing anyone since it is not partnered with UD, but there are people from around the world. The school has a lot of field trips you can take with your classes which made learning fun. I made friends from all over the world and the school had a bunch of great events for all students through out the semester. I couldn't see anyone coming here and not liking it.

Highly recommend AIFS! The program supports you every step of the way! Wonderful Experience!

Take advantage of the Fridays off and travel as much as you can. Also, leave campus as much as possible. It is easy to get stuck staying in all week, but go into the city even though it is far.

I would definitely recommend using The Education Abroad Network (TEAN). The program made the transition practically seamless, and they provided a person in the area where you study abroad that can answer any questions about the city as well as monthly coffee breaks to make sure everyone is doing well. I was lucky to have a small group of students (five including myself) while abroad and the person assigned to us through TEAN was always available to answer our questions and ended up being one of our best friends. TEAN also puts their students in the same housing which makes it easy to connect with people in the same situation. Although the program is not always able to answer all questions about universities and their policies, they do an excellent job of ensuring their students are enjoying their time while abroad.

Let me start by saying how nervous I was to study abroad in Australia, but never did I doubt that I was ready to go. I packed my suitcases a month in advance I was so excited, and thought I had everything planned out. Even after all the preparation, I still came across difficulties and hardships that I could not have prepared for. In that way, these problems gave me the experiences that I could not have gotten at Dayton, and for that I am extremely grateful and lucky to have had the chance to do so. If you have the chance, GO! You won't regret it, and you may never get the same chance to do it again. Y.O.L.O. is the most accurate statement for a great, challenging, and memorable study abroad experience that will give you memories for a lifetime.

The TEAN Abroad program is amazing! The workers are extremely helpful and make the transition into a new country very smooth. The school that I attended was also very awesome because they made sure that you became apart of the New Zealand culture and learned about it. I would recommend this program because you meet many new people, have a life time experience, and broaden your horizons.

I had an amazing time at the IES London program. I would recommend this 100%.

My program, SAI, was good and very helpful with any questions or concerns I had. What made my experience abroad an incredible experience was my homestay! With my homestay I lived with a small family with kids my age outside the center of the city in a quieter neighborhood. At the house I learned better Italian culture and made strides in my linguistic skills. I made friendships with my family, especially my host brother, that will be timeless!

API Granada is a fantastic program. API is a great, affordable company, and Granada is small enough to walk around, but large enough that there's always something to go do or see. The culture there is so rich, and it's like nothing else you'll see in Europe.

API takes you to a lot of places you wouldn't go otherwise. They definitely have well rounded activities for the students. The program directors were always available to help whenever needed.

My four months in Rome were the best four months of my life. I studied at the Loyola John Felice Rome Center and had the most incredible experience. From the moment I landed in Rome in January I was in love with the city. I made some great friends both from throughout the US and in Rome who I will stay in contact with forever. Studying abroad was everything I thought it would be and a lot more. It was rewarding, challenging, enriching, and provided me with memories I will never forget. The most rewarding aspect of studying abroad is the self-confidence it gives you. You travel from new city to new city, sometimes alone, and are forced to jump out of your comfort zone and meet new people who speak a different language than you. You have to navigate public transportation without being able to read the signs. You point at food on a menu because the name looks cool but you have no idea what you are actually eating. At first, it is scary and intimidating, but you soon grow used to the unknown and grow to love it. Coming home, you want to take public transportation instead of driving everywhere. You understand that getting lost isn't always a bad thing and allows you to see some pretty cool sites along the way. You become confident in yourself and your ability to be independent and know there is almost nothing you can handle. Although I would love to paint a perfect picture of my four months abroad, it was also challenging at times as well. You were challenged to break down any walls you may have and be ready for anything. You will often be traveling in groups with people you just met maybe a week or month ago. You are forced to become best friends right away and get to see a whole other side of them that you may have not seen for a few years in a normal situation. It is challenging at times to compromise on what you would and would not see in certain cities due to your limited time in each city and attempt to appease everyone. However, these challenges helped me grow a lot during my four months. As someone who is always trying to take charge and make decisions quickly, I often had to force myself to step back and let others make the choices and just go with the flow. That is one thing you will learn to do while study abroad: go with the flow. There is often no need to have a schedule because realistically you will not follow it. One of my favorite things about studying in Italy is how laid back they are. No one is ever in a rush. As a fast walker I would often be looked at as I passed Italians walking down the street at their normal leisurely pace. It forces you to slow down and appreciate the sites you see and the people you meet. It causes you to form memories that you continue to think about several times even a few months later. Not a day goes by when I do not catch myself day dreaming of standing in the main park of Rome, Villa Borghese, watching the sunset over the Vatican with the same man playing "What a wonderful World" on his piano. These beautiful memories are the ones that stay with you. They take me back to my favorite city in the world and remind me of what studying abroad is all about. I absolutely fell in love with every aspect of Rome. The people, the cobblestone streets, the history, the food, the pace of life, the gelato, the good wine, everything. I will be forever thankful for my study abroad experience and all that it provided me. I was able to visit 10 different countries in four months and live in the beautiful city I have seen. I have grown a lot, been challenged more than I imagined, and made some friends with whom I will always share a unique bond. If I had one regret of studying abroad it would be that I didn't go for longer. I loved every second I was there and am counting every second until I go back.

This program enhanced my world view tremendously. It's almost a bad decision NOT to study abroad at some point throughout your college experience because there might not be another chance to see the world once you graduate. This program was a great way for me to experience other cultures and learn a new language without having to figure out everything on my own. I highly recommend studying abroad because I gained new friends, new knowledge, and amazing new memories I will take with me throughout the rest of my life.

This was without a doubt one of the best experiences of my life. Being able to get out of the classroom for most of the trip and participate in experiential learning made the learning process much more beneficial and definitely had a positive impact on my life. The program revolves around the environment of both Australia and New Zealand as well as sustainable environmental practices and on how cultures interact with the environment. With limited classroom time, we were able to experience the environment and culture first hand every single day and the views and experiences were absolutely amazing. The staff was so dedicated to the program and students and made the trip the great experience that it was.

This program directed me where I needed to be while still allowing me to have my own independent experiences- highly recommended! I loved our excursions and getting to go to an actual university in Buenos Aires.

The CEA program was an amazing experience and continuously exceeded all of my expectations. Along with the language immersion aspects, CEA offered activities almost every night and led weekend excursions. The advisors really wanted to ensure that you go the most out of your time with the program and were truly immersing yourself in the local culture. The classroom environment was fun and the teachers were all very helpful and my langauge improved dramatically. Other than the classroom time, CEA is so great because it allows you to make friends from different colleges all across the country who you are able to share this awesome experience with.

Future students should know that the AIFS program challenges participants and rewards them with unforgettable experiences. Like most study abroad experiences, the elements of culture shock and the language barrier are certainly present, but students should be cognizant of the Russian mentality and some cultural norms ahead of time if they want to fully enjoy their experiences. The most rewarding moments will vary, but from interactions with warm and hospitable host families, to tours of the most lavish palaces in the country, there are brilliant things to discover about both the people and the locale almost everywhere. The challenging part of the program is constantly exercising the language. St. Petersburg is more accommodating than most Russian cities when it comes to foreign speakers, but interacting in another language for months on end is no easy feat, so diligence and good study habits should be developed beforehand to ensure a more comfortable transition.

Having an internship abroad is something I would HIGHLY recommend. It was amazing to be able to turn an average resume building internship to an incomparable professional and international experience. The ability to work abroad really gave a whole knew meaning to "adaptability" and "cultural understanding". The program I went with made finding work and living arrangements easy and stress free.

The program that I used was excellent. They really encourage you to go out and assimilate in the culture. They are very understanding about your needs. The whole staff who works for AIFS is amazing. I would highly recommend this program to everyone!
